This is the first year we are trying this workshop. In previous years I've talked about various fibers and preparation methods in the Drop Spindle workshops; this year I am breaking off a specific chunk of time to go more in depth. So we are doing a sort of hands-on seminar where I will provide samples of various fibers including differences in breeds of sheep's wool, mohair, silk, and various exotic and odd materials. We will talk about their properties, what makes them work, and you will put together your own personal sample journal with all the neat things. 

I will also demonstrate various fiber processing tools and other neat stuff. This will be a blast!
